Overview
ESI is a privately held corporation with headquarters in
Plano, Texas, just outside Dallas. Rapid growth, stable

since its founding in 1987.
ESI designs and manufactures high-efficiency, low-cost
business telephone products. These products have earned

ESI develops products that target small- to medium-sized
offices, and markets those products through a diverse Reseller
organization that includes a broad cross-section of telephone
interconnect companies and independent telephone companies
throughout North America.
As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), ESI has built
private-label versions of its products for some of the world's
leading brands in telecommunications, including Comdial,
Samsung, Executone, and Code-a-Phone.
ESI products are used by major companies such as:

Product strengths
ESI builds products that are easy to install, easy to
understand and simple to use.
All ESI products are designed with
combined proprietary hardware and software
platforms. ESI proudly engineers and manufactures its systems'
hardware in the United States. Software is created and
maintained by senior-level ESI engineers and developers.
Technology
ESI's
all-in-one phone systems (ESI-600, IVX, and
IP E-Class) deliver advanced operating performance through
seamless feature integration. They are the "smartest" phones
on the market, much less in their respective price
ranges.
By using high-efficiency components such as the
Motorola 68000-class processor and custom-designed disk
operating sub-system, ESI products meet stringent voice
processing requirements.
While many other manufacturers were late to discover the
superior performance and reliability that digital signal
processing (DSP) provides in voice storage and retrieval, ESI
has been using DSP technology since 1992.
DSP technology provides many operating advantages. A DSP
rapidly samples and converts speech and DTMF tones from analog
waves into digital data. Storing this data electronically not
only improves system speed and reliability, but it also gives
users more flexibility while storing, retrieving and moving
voice messages. Because DSP technology requires less discrete
hardware and fewer integrated components, ESI is also able to
design products that are more compact and
economical.
Uniqueness
Because ESI
is an independent U.S. manufacturer that designs and builds
its own combined phone and voice mail
systems, each ESI product is aggressively priced and possesses
unique, leading-edge features. Market agility allows ESI to
meet industry needs more efficiently than larger companies,
and advanced product design gives ESI a competitive edge over
more limited competitors.
Cutting-edge technology, award-winning products and a
progressive vision define the ESI difference.
